For a truly mesmerising evening, the Mascheranda Ball is second to none for Baroque-style traditional ball entertainment. You will meet an array of eclectic characters from Casanova and his lady to belly dancers and magicians.
For those who want a party-ball feel and involvement in all things Carnival, this is the ball to choose. Every year the best Casanova of the Night has to be chosen, who will you choose to win 2018?!
Also for your pleasure is a Master of Dance led lesson to make sure you know your minuetto from your cotillon!
As the evening progresses the disco gets started on the lower floor, making sure you can immerse yourself in the carnival period along with present day.

Masquerade at the Mascheranda Ball
Day 1 – 9th February 2018Fly to Venice and Watertaxi Transfer to your hotel
Fly to Venice and your meet & greet transfer will take you by watertaxi to your hotel. This is vital as Venice is very busy at carnival time and having a representative assist you with your luggage to your boat saves time!
Hotel Metropole is a 5 star hotel located just along from St Mark's Square. It overlooks the lagoon and is perfect for the carnival season, with inviting aromas from the incense sticks, through to its stylish classical rooms. We have a selection of rooms, some of which overlook the lagoon.
Rest of day at leisure.
Day 2 – 10th February 2018Costume Fitting and Michelin Star Gourmet Tasting Dinner
This morning attend your appointment with the Atelier for your costume fitting. From the Atelier’s online catalogue you will have pre-selected your costume beforehand, so this appointment ensures everything fits and is comfortable. These fittings are limited to 4 people at any one time to ensure you have a high level of personal level of service and feel truly special.
Once dressed like a Venetian noble, do as the locals do and promenade around Venice in your historical costume. This really is a highlight as Venice becomes alive with colour and style as everyone in their masked finery takes to the streets. Enjoy the tourists taking photos of you looking your best. Whilst promenading, why not treat yourself to a glass of Champagne at Westin Europa & Regina or at The Monaco, both overlooking the Grand Canal.
This evening you have a gourmet tasting dinner prepared by the Michelin Star Chef at the Met Restaurant, conveniently located within Hotel Metropole. Sample many wonderful authentic Venetian dishes.
Day 3 – 11th February 2018Morning at Leisure and Attend the Mascheranda Ball
After breakfast, enjoy some more time promenading in your historical costume.
This evening you will be transferred by watertaxi to the Palazzo Pisani Moretta, which houses the Mascheranda Ball. From all the masked balls on offer, this is the ball most resembling an 18th century Baroque celebration.

A welcome aperitif will meet you as you enter the Main Saloon, before you enter the Noble Floor, where the frescoes are awe inspiring.
Enjoy a traditional gala dinner on the Noble Floor.
You have two options of ball ticket:
Saloon Dining - in the smaller rooms before entering the main hall for the entertainment.
Main Hall Dining - enjoy the entertainment whilst you eat.
The entertainment includes live classical music by the Baroque Quartet, before you help judge the winner of the "Casanova of the Year" award and participate in the "School of Historical Dances" with the Master of Ceremony, who will teach you the main steps. There will also be palmists, belly dancers, fortune tellers and magicians to entertain you. The evening will quickly while away.
After dinner there is a open bar, and you can choose between traditional dancing or the disco and DJ downstairs with further live performances to entertain you. The ball closes at around 2.30am.
Wander back to your hotel after a night living like a Venetian!
Day 4 – 12th February 2018Return Costume and at Leisure until Airport Watertaxi Transfer for flight home
Breakfast and return your costume to the Atelier.
At leisure until your airport watertaxi transfer for your flight home after your Mascheranda Ball Short Break.
Price Per Person: From £1,950
Flights, 3 nights accommodation with breakfast in 5 star hotel, Mascheranda entry level ticket, Costume hire for 2 days, Airport Transfers and one way Transfer to the Ball.
If you wanted to upgrade to the top level ticket there is a £350 per person supplement.
