Early Bird Tickets – Verona Opera Holiday
Every summer from June to August time, the open-air arena in Verona, opens its door for the opera season. Getting to experience the opera in an arena built in 79AD is quite an experience, along with fantastic acoustics is a must. With such demand, another good reason to book early is to take advantage of the reduced early bird ticket pricing!
The arena has many levels of seating, however, our main Verona Opera Lover’s Break includes one night at the opera in Gold Central Stall seating, which is the best seating in the house. Just back and central to the stage, you get to see the whole scene going on in front of you. For the more visual performances like Aida and Carmen, this is a must, as both operas create quite a feast for the eyes as well as the ears! This early bird pricing is a good saving for you if you book before Christmas, afterwards the price will only increase.
Other factors are the flight prices and hotel availability as the June dates are always heavily in demand and book up quickly. Also, the later in the season you go, the more humid the city will be. Don’t forget if you have to travel when the children have finished school, then the airlines are going to charge higher prices as they know more people are travelling. If you are travelling by yourself, please note the Verona hotels have very few single rooms, so another very real reason to be organised early, otherwise the price for a double room, can easily add a further £250 to your rapidly reducing budget.
With all these reasons, why would you not want to book early and save yourself money on your Verona opera holiday? As an added bonus, you also have something fantastic to look forward to for longer, and the money saved can go on your first night out in the city!
